Pre-Licensed Professional Counselor, APC
Taking the first step towards therapy is a part of the process of gaining the necessary tools towards better mental health. As parents we do our best to help our children to problem solve and it is important to also teach them to ask for help when needed. You may be asking yourself when is a good time to ask for help. If your child is struggling with regulating his or her emotions, anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, and or other issues that come along with being a teen or young adult, the time is now.
I am a detailed oriented professional with an extensive understanding of the connection between one’s thoughts, feelings, behavior, and the impact they can have on mental health. Focused on empowering children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. I offer therapy for parents and their children in a safe, natural, non-judgmental environment.
I am a licensed associate professional counselor certified in trauma with a wealth of knowledge and experience working with children and their families for over twenty years as a teacher, school counselor, and therapist. I believe my experience and passion will help individuals embrace the concept that their past does not have to dictate their future.
